Darren Maguire TCRG/ADCRG

Since the very early days of Riverdance, Darren has been on tour with the show. In '97 he was asked to perform the lead role. The show has taken him to more than 300 cities in the World where he has danced on some of the world's most notable stages incl. Radio City Hall (US), the Kremlin (Russia) and the Great Hall of the People (China). Summer -04 he performed at their 10 year jubilee celebrations. In '06 he devoted himself to teaching full time. He took up dancing at the age of 3 and was taught by his parents. A successful competitive career made him All Ireland, All England and Great Britain Chamipon, as well as placing 2nd in the World Championships. August 2003 he passed his TCRG exam with flying colours and since 2006 he is teaching at his Tucson, Arizona (USA) based Maguire Academy. In 2007 he passed his ADCRG on his first attempt and he took his first world qualifier to the '07 World Champs in Glasgow.
